Now Feeling:  bored
I am bored, bored, bored. We are watching some asinine kids cartoon movie and the only kid watching is Ella. Louis is upstairs hogging the computer and I need to go online to register Wordsmith. Not that it matters, as I'm not really in the mood to write anyway. I think I'm about done with Ch3 of TWA2DM, but I'm having trouble writing him young enough. Maybe I need to get my 10 yr old brother to beta read it, he's reading Draco Dormiens right now, or at least he would be if he wasn't playing st00pid computer games. I bought him Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising series for Xmas, he better read it. The lead character in this movie it really annoying, I hope she dies.

The Very Secret Diary of Richard O'Connell - Adventurer
Day 1 - got box set of Indiana Jones movies for birthday, he is super cool. Decided army is not for me after all, pay sucks and the Colonel keeps making me do naked press ups. I have sand in places you wouldn't believe.
Day 2 - met strange foreign man in local bazaar, claims to know the way to ancient city full of treasure. Have decided to trust him implicitly even though he has funny accent and looks rather greasy. Couldn't find fedora big enough, will keep looking.
Day 8 - deserted and marched entire squadron across half of Northern Africa after greasy foreign man. This isn't as much fun as it looked in the movies, better be lots of treasure or will kick Beni's ass.
Day 9 - reached ancient and mysterious city. Found neat little box. Unfortunately entire squadron slaughtered by mysterious men in black. Bugger. Beni unexpectedly saved himself and left me to die. Damn foreigners.
Day 13 - no food, no water, nothing but stupid map to where I already was in little box, what would Indy do?
Day 15 - screw Indy! When I get back to Cairo I am going to drink until I fall over.
Day 16 - in kairo, vrri drnk...
Day 17 - God my head hurts. Seem to be in jail, damn foreigners refuse to let me phone American embassy. They keep gabbling something about a camel and someone's brother. They clearly have the wrong man. I wonder where I got that bite mark on my inside thigh? Damn foreign bugs.
Day 19 - still in jail, how did hair get so long? Someone has stolen my little box and am going to be hung for incident with camel. This is really starting to piss me off.
Day 20 - kissed girl, escaped death and punched guy who stole my little box. Hero stuff not so bad after all. Going back to mysterious city again, things bound to work out better this time. Time for a haircut.
Day 23 - remind me to stop going to mysterious ancient cities with strangers. Girl raised ancient Mummy, end of the world nigh. Shot a lot of people, that bit was fun. Back to Cairo, at least don't have to walk this time.
Day 25 - ancient Mummy nicked girl, killed bunch of people. Beni is working for him now, damn foreigners. Jonathan keeps touching my thigh.
Bored now. Rick just isn't very amusing.
We were playing Trivial Pursuits but I have deserted in the middle of the game owing to it being a new version and all the questions being watered down stupid crap. I was mostly reading fanfic anyway, Maya's and Aja's Xmas stories rocked. I have forgotten the titles though. Must go find Maya's journal and post review. |
