That's an excellent picture - I find it hard to keep all the elements of floral photos in focus.
Of course, you appear to have some kind of mysterious light source from above. I have heard of such things, but never experienced it in the rain-shrouded Peak District. Must dash, either someone's trying to drill through the roof, or it's hailing again.
My camera does take some persuasion to focus on what I want it to focus on rather than some random twig or leaf in the far background. Auto focus is not all it's cracked up to be.
Yes, I'm caught between autofocus (takes wonderfully sharp pictures of the fence/ground) or trying to do it myself (wonderfully sharp pictures of my finger or whichever insect is munching the actual subject of the photo).
You've done a cracking job of getting the whole image in with that picture though. I'd be very chuffed with a photo like that. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
